Lots of small power generators offer you the ability to power devices, but not many have the extensive list of key features you’ll find with the EB70. We are going to break down the most important functions you’ll find on the EB70 to give you a good idea of what this device can do for you.

Battery Features

Bluettie uses a top-of-the-line battery in all of their devices including the EB70. This device uses a LiFePO4 Battery that has an extended duty cycle and long life. The LiFePO4 design and built-in controller prevents accidental over charging, overheating, and other problems common with lesser designs. The EB70 can be recharged at least 2,500 times before dropping to a battery capacity of 80 percent. That will give you years of recharging opportunities and keeps you from having to buy a new device every few years.

Use While Recharging

The battery management system allows you to recharge the Bluetti EB70 while powering devices. It should be noted, though, that using this device in this manner will shorten the long-term battery life span.

Connections

The EB70 will power devices using 110v AC power, 12v DC power, or USB. That means you have lots of options for powering and charging the most important devices you use all the time. It features four AC outlets, three 12v outlets, and four USB outlets.

Pros

  • Compact, portable, and powerful backup power in a convenient and easy to use design
  • Built-in battery management system and MPPT controller prevent damage to devices while ensuring optimal recharging of the EB70
  • Ideal power level of 700w for powering small appliances or providing emergency power

Cons

  • Display is small, difficult to read, and doesn’t provide the needed information in a convenient manner

AC Power Options

The four AC outlets are capable of providing up to 700 watts of power with peak voltage hitting 1,400 to handle sudden surges. You can plug up to four devices in simultaneously with a total voltage below 700 volts. Each of the AC ports provides a pure sine wave that prevents damage to sensitive electronics and gives a consistent amount of power. Pure sine wave technology is essential in a power station and you should never use a device that doesn’t offer a pure sine wave.

DC Power Options

The Bluetti EB70 has two 12v jacks that use regulated power to provide 12v/10a power. This setup is ideal for automotive devices using 5.5mmx2.5mm jacks. The EB70 also includes a 12v ACC port for connecting devices you would normally plug into a cigarette lighter. The 12v/3a ACC port is not regulated, which is common in the industry.

USB Power Options

This power generator has the USB connections you value the most, including two QC PD USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. That means you’ll have no trouble quick-charging your phone or providing a steady power recharge for drones, radios, and other sensitive electronics that are not capable of handling quick charge technology.

Wireless Charging Pad

The top of the power generator has a magnetic wireless charging pad you can use to provide power to your enabled device. This is an added convenience you don’t see in most designs.

LED Light

The Bluetti EB70 has a built-in LED light with different modes for different purposes. This is an excellent option that gives you extra versatility.

Recharging Methods and Rates

Bluetti EB70

Recharging the Bluetti EB70 is quick and simple. You have three options for recharging that start with the most efficient -AC power. Using the included wall jack, you can get the EB70 from 0 to fully charged in around four hours.

When you are on the go and don’t have an AC outlet available, you can also use your ACC port in your car to charge using 12v power. This is a slower option and will take anywhere from six to eight hours.

The Bluetti EB70 is capable of using optional solar panels to recharge. You can wire up to 200 watts of solar in parallel to recharge the Bluetti EB70 in about six hours.

What Separates EB70 from Other Designs

There are a few key features to consider when buying a power generator. The device we review today uses the best, safest, and fastest charging battery available. Anything else won’t perform as well. Many devices in this power and price range provide two or fewer AC ports. With four ports available, you’ll be able to connect more devices at once. Similarly, it is very rare to find a power generator, even larger and more expensive models, that feature two PD USB-C ports. The wireless charging pad is something you’ll almost never see on other devices and is an instantly awesome convenience.

Bluetti EB70 Review Conclusion

This is an excellent power generator that will serve you for years. It works equally well for camping as it does in emergencies. You’ll be able to count on this device when you need it. We highly recommend it as a mid-price, mid-power option that gives most people what they need in a compact, convenient, portable package. (>>> Check on Amazon)
